Meet Dr. John Bradshaw

Welcome to our practice! I truly enjoy what I do. Improving people’s smiles and wellbeing with braces has been very rewarding, and I am blessed to serve such a wonderful community. After over 40 years in practice, I am still thrilled to come to work every day, where I learn new methods and meet new friends.

Education and Continuing Education

For my education, I am a Tar Heel through and through! I attended the University of North Carolina for my Undergraduate Degree, Dental School and my Orthodontic Residency. Although my formal education was completed years ago, I always attend meetings across the country to stay up to date on the latest technology and techniques in my field. I am also active in local dental study clubs throughout the region.

In the Practice

I have been practicing orthodontics since 1969, and have made many wonderful friendships throughout my career. The best part of my job is simply getting to know my patients and building relationships with people in our community.

I know you’ll enjoy coming to our office! The doctors and staff here are friendly and caring. We hire compassionate people who want to help others, and it shows! Right as you walk in our door, you’ll be welcomed with a smile. We want each person to feel at home here. We also love to have fun! For the kids, we have giveaways and prizes throughout the year. It’s a great place to be!

Family and Community

I was born and raised in Relief, North Carolina, and have lived in our community for over 40 years. My beautiful wife, Karen, and I have two daughters that live in Charlotte. We also have one son, who I share my practice with. At home, we have a Swiss Mountain dog to keep us company. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, or collecting stamps. I also love watching UNC sports, and got to watch the Tar Heels win the National Championship! I am also active in the First Church of the Brethren as well as our Rotary Club.
